Turn forwarding off
Stop sending calls from your mobile, landline or office phone system to Hello.
Turn forwarding off with the phone service that sends your calls to Hello. Changing your choice in Hello doesn't cancel forwarding with your provider.
Mobile
- Open the dialler on the mobile that's forwarding.
- Enter
##002#and press call. - Wait for the confirmation message.
- Call that mobile from another phone to check it rings as normal.
##002# clears all call forwarding, including forwarding to your voicemail. If you want voicemail back, ask your mobile provider how to set it up again.
Landline or office system
- Open your provider's portal or app, or call their support team.
- Ask them to remove forwarding to your Hello number.
- For an office phone system, ask your IT person to check menu, busy and after-hours routes.
- Call your business number from another phone and check where it rings.
What stays on
Your Hello number still takes direct calls after forwarding is off. Turning forwarding off doesn't cancel your Hello plan. To do that, see cancelling.
If you're waiting for a number to port, keep your current service and forwarding on until we confirm the move. Don't cancel the old service early or you could lose the number.
