Not an emergency service

Don't rely on Hello for urgent safety, medical or emergency situations. Call 111.

Hello is an AI front desk, not an emergency service. Don't rely on it for urgent safety, medical or emergency situations. In an emergency in New Zealand, call 111.

The limits

Hello answers approved questions, takes messages and puts callers through based on your setup. That isn't a guaranteed emergency response.

AI can misunderstand people. Calls and transfers depend on phone networks and other providers. A transferred call can go unanswered or to voicemail.

Leadica support is by email during NZ business hours. It isn't an emergency channel either.

Check your setup

  1. Check what you've told Hello about urgent enquiries.
  2. Make sure it doesn't promise emergency help or response times you can't provide.
  3. Keep your phone tree up to date.
  4. Use Triage line in Onboarding to set safety stops, such as "if someone is in danger, tell them to call 111".
  5. Ask hello@leadica.io about anything unclear.

A test call isn't proof an emergency will always reach someone.

Sensitive information

Don't ask Hello to collect card details, passwords or sensitive health information.

The terms explain our responsibilities and limits.
