How many calls at once?

Hello answers several calls together, but your forwarding service may limit how many reach it.

Hello can answer several calls at the same time, with no busy signal. If calls reach Hello by forwarding, your current phone service decides how many it can pass on together.

Check your forwarding

  1. Ask two people to call your usual business number at the same time.
  2. Keep the first call going while the second person calls.
  3. Check that both reach Hello.
  4. If one gets a busy signal or voicemail, ask your provider how many calls your number can forward at once.

Business and VoIP plans often have one or two "call paths". Your provider can tell you whether more can be added.

Mobiles

Mobiles can usually forward several calls. For missed-call forwarding, use the **004* code from the app. It covers busy, unanswered and unavailable calls.

Transfers are different

Hello answering several calls doesn't mean one person can take several transferred calls. Someone already on a call may send the next transfer to voicemail. Add another person to your phone tree where it makes sense.

Calls made straight to your Hello number don't go through your old provider, so they aren't limited by its call paths. Porting an eligible number removes that limit too.
