- Find Website chat.
- Turn on Chat on your support page and website.
- Select Preview to check the chat window.
No snippet showing? Set your Support page address under Settings, Branding, then select Save branding.
Add it to your website
Select Copy chat snippet, then paste it just before the closing </body> tag on every page.
- WordPress: use a header and footer plugin such as WPCode, and paste it in the footer.
- Wix: Settings, Custom code, Add custom code, choose Body end, all pages.
- Squarespace: Settings, Advanced, Code injection, Footer.
- Shopify: Online Store, Themes, Edit code,
theme.liquid, paste above</body>. - Webflow: Site settings, Custom code, Footer code, then publish.
- Google Tag Manager: new Custom HTML tag, paste the snippet, trigger on All Pages, then submit.
Publish your site and test the chat bubble.
Your web person can add data-color="#0f766e" (any six-digit colour) or data-position="left" to the snippet. Otherwise the bubble sits bottom right.
Turn chat off
Turn off the switch in Settings, Channels, Website chat. This turns chat off on your website and support page.
