Connect Nowbookit

Hello checks your Nowbookit diary live and books tables while the guest is on the phone. It can find, move or cancel a booking using the caller's number.

Hello texts the guest their confirmation and booking reference. Nowbookit does not send a confirmation for bookings made this way.

What you need

• Your venue's Nowbookit API key.
• Your venue ID or Nowbookit booking link.
• Owner or admin access in Hello.

Get your key and venue ID

1. In Nowbookit, click your profile icon at the bottom left.
2. Open Organisation settings, then the Settings icon, Integrations, API Keys.
3. Press Issue a key.
4. Choose Your own integration and One venue.
5. Pick your venue and tick Reservations.
6. Copy the key. It is only shown once.
7. Find your venue ID in your Nowbookit booking link after venueid=. You can paste the whole link into Hello instead.

Connect

1. In Hello, open Integrations.
2. Enter the Nowbookit API key and Venue ID or booking link.
3. Press Connect.

Hello bookings cannot be on at the same time. Turn them off under Bookings first.

Settings

• Largest group Hello books: from 1 to 50 guests. Starts at 8. Bigger groups become a message for your team.
• Minimum notice: from 0 to 1440 minutes. Starts at 30 minutes.
• Find bookings by caller's number: lets Hello find the caller's existing booking.
• Let callers change bookings and Let callers cancel bookings: both need caller lookup on.
• Mark phone bookings as: choose a status, or Leave as Unconfirmed. Cancelled and no-show statuses are not offered.
• Online booking link: texted to callers when a sitting needs a deposit or set menu. These sittings must be booked online.

Press Save to apply your changes. Use the on/off switch to pause table bookings without disconnecting the venue.

Try it

Enter a party size, a day and a time under Try it. Hello shows what it would offer. This does not book a table.

Recent bookings show the guest, party size, booking reference and linked call.

If something goes wrong

Check the message on the Nowbookit card. Test connection checks access to your venue. Update voice agent applies the Nowbookit actions to your front desk.

Press Disconnect to stop Hello using Nowbookit. Existing bookings stay in your diary.
