Connect your calendar
Connect Google, Outlook or a calendar link so Hello doesn't put callers through while someone is busy.
When a person's calendar is connected, Hello won't put callers through to them while they're busy. It offers a colleague who handles the same thing, or takes a message and texts them.
Owners and admins can connect anyone's calendar. Members can connect their own.
Connect Google or Outlook
- Open Team.
- Find the person.
- Next to Calendar, select Connect Google or Connect Outlook.
- Sign in to that calendar account and allow access.
- You're brought back to Hello. The row now shows the account and when it was last checked.
To stop, select Disconnect.
Use a calendar link instead
- On Team, under the person's calendar, select Or paste a calendar link.
- Paste their private iCal or ICS link. It must start with https:// or webcal://.
- Select Save.
The steps for finding the link in Google, Outlook and iCloud are shown under the field.
What Hello reads
Hello only reads busy times. It never reads or says what's in someone's calendar. Calendars are checked every 10 minutes, so a new meeting can take up to 10 minutes to count.
Work Microsoft accounts
Work or school Microsoft accounts outside Leadica may need their IT admin to approve Hello for now, until Microsoft verification is complete. If you see an approval message, send this article to your IT person, or use a calendar link instead.
